1) What will happen in the photoshoot?

For the lifestyle photo session, all you need to do is relax and enjoy the time with your children.  I will ask you to smile in front of the camera from time to time, but mostly I would like to capture the playful moments of your children, just treat it is as a fun day-out with your family!
For the newborn shoot, it will be a lot of posing shots, so bring along the nappies, bottle, nursing cover, snack for yourself as it will be a long day.  You will need extra clothing for yourself, not only for the family shot, but if you are holding your newborn with no nappy, accident could happen easily.

2) What should I wear?

I usually advise my clients to wear bright colour clothing without busy pattern.  Do think about how you would match the colour with other family members.  You can bring along some accessories for your children as well.

3) Do you offer props?

Yes for newborn session.  For outdoor lifestyle session, if you have a very young child (less than a year ago), then I can bring along some props like a wooden barrel, a giant cup etc. so we can have a variety of looks for the images as they usually aren't walking at this stage.  I do have some tutu dresses for the girls, feel free to ask me to bring it along if you want them to be part of the shot.  You can also prepare your own props, bringing a picnic mat & toys or even having a theme for the photoshoot, your imagination is the only limitation!

4) What if it's raining on the day of the photo session?

You do not have to worry about it.  I will usually confirm with you the night before the photo session.  I will also get in touch with you a couple of hours before the photo session to confirm that the weather is OK for having the photo shoot, if not, a mutual agreed day will be discussed again.

5) What if my child is unwell?

No one wants their own child to be sick, as this is unpredictable.  I am happy to re-schedule the photoshoot for another mutual agreed day, but please do let me know as soon as possible.

6) Can I be in the photoshoot?

Yes, of course, every session is permitted for up to 6 people.  For any additional member, there is a small charge of £10 per person.

7) Do you do wedding photography?

I do not cater for weddings unfortunately, as my work and equipment is tailored for children photography.  Wedding photography has a different dynamic to the photography I specialised in, so apologies for disappointment.

8) Do I get any print from the photo session?

No.  I don't provide the prints but I do offer professional canvas prints.  I offer the edited high resolution JPEG files so you can print the images as many as you want in whatever medium you'd like, something like photobook, canvas, poster is all a lovely choice to present your images.  Though I can't assure the quality of your print (please do print your image with a reputable printer).  Isn't it better to have your image print as you wish and at no extra costs to get the JPEG files?

10) Do I need to pay for the license of any images from you?

No.  Once you have purchased the images of your choice, you can do whatever you want without asking for my permission.

11) Will you retouch the images, for example if there is some broken skin on the face?

This is a case by case situation.  The images I present to you will be all professionally edited, I always remove some obvious marks on the images, adjust the lighting or even present some chosen images in more artistic way, but I can't say if I will remove all the imperfection, it really depends on the images, and the way we see the images.  Too much retouching will make your images look unrealistic to the eye.

12) Can I get a refund if I don't like the images at all?

No.  Sorry, the session fee is non-refundable, but there is no pressure in purchasing any images that you don't like.  Thankfully this never happened to date!

13) When will I receive my images?

After your photo session, you will receive an online secured album within 2 weeks.  Before the online album is ready for you, I will prepare a preview album (contains 8-10 images) on my facebook page and also a blog for you to take a little peek.  Once you received the online secured album on my website, then you would have a further 2 weeks time to purchase the images.  If you have any particular reasons to not choose it before the deadline, please let me know asap as the album will be deleted after 2 weeks and there is a charge of £10 to re-upload it.  You will receive a disc containing the chosen images within 2 weeks after making your purchase.

14) Can I ask you to retouch something in the image that I don't like or turn the toned images back to colour one?

If they are minor details on a few images, then I may do that but if it is a large portion of the images that you would like me to retouch again, then it would be chargable and I will provide you with a quote.  If I turn your images into black & white toned images, there is almost most certainly a reason behind that and I don't reverse them to colour.  The album I present to you is the final cut, you have no pressure to purchase them all, so you are free to choose whichever ones you like.  Remember if you are having a lifestyle photoshoot at your own home, all household items which you do not wish to be in the shots need to be removed before my arrival.

15) What if I order the wrong image?  Can I get the right one for free?

No.  Unfortunately My Little Angel Photography cannot take responsibility under these circumstances.  Please note down all file names carefully and correctly before placing your order. Triple check if needed.

16) How large can I have my image enlarged?

It depends on the medium, for example if you want them to be printed in a photo quality paper, you may enlarge it up to the size of 10" x 16" without losing the sharpness of the image.  If it is for canvas prints which usually requires less resolution, then you can print up to the size of 20"x40" or even larger depends on the cropping of the images.

17) When is the starting time of the photoshoot for newborn shoot in my place?

Once I have my backdrop setup and the first props are ready then your photo session will be timed from that point.

18) When do I need to pay for the session fee?

Once we have confirmed a date for your photo session, your session fee will need to be paid in full by then to secure the booking.  After that, you only need to pay for the preferred images which you have chosen from your personal online album.

19) Will you be able to tailor made a session for me?
